Work Truck

Also known as WT, the Work Truck is the base-level trim that’s made to be a workhorse. Even so, it has plenty of features you’d expect from a Chevy. Every Silverado 3500 HD has a 6.6L gas V8 engine with 401 horsepower and 464 lb.-ft of torque. You can opt for the 6.6L diesel V8 which gets 470 horsepower and 975 lb.-ft of torque if you need more power. It’s available in rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

Because it’s built for work, a trailer hitch and seven-pin connector are standard. The WT has a push-button start, keyless entry, and under-seat storage. It includes a 7-inch touchscreen display with Chevrolet Connected Services with Wi-Fi and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Standard Safety Features

Multiple safety features are standard in all trim levels, including the WT. These are lane departure warnings, following distance indicators, forward collision alerts, automatic emergency braking, and automatic high beams.

LT

The LT is an upgrade from the WT, but it’s still rugged enough to be a work truck. It has an EZ lift tailgate with a power lock and release as well as a trailer brake controller. It also comes with remote engine start, a 13.4-inch touchscreen display, navigation functionality, and satellite radio. Choose between a leather or cloth interior in black or dark gray. Additional exterior colors include Dark Ash Metallic, Radiant Red, Auburn Metallic, and Iridescent Pearl.

Available safety features include blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, and rear parking sensors. Adaptive cruise control and a sunroof are also available.

LTZ

The LTZ is only available in crew cab and comes with several upgrades. The trailer mirrors are heated and power-adjustable with puddle lights and turn signal indicators. The exterior mirrors are power-folding and auto-dimming. It has LED lights, a leather interior, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The front driver and passenger seats are power-adjustable and heated, and the driver seat has memory settings.

High Country

The Chevy Silverado 3500 HD High Country is the most luxurious trim level. It has all the bells and whistles. This includes a power-sliding rear window, LED cargo bed lighting, spray-in bedliner, ventilated front seats, and a surround-view camera system. It also has a Bose premium sound system and a wireless charging pad.
